Ed Daugavietis serves on the SLF board as Director and Chair of the Editorial Committee.  He has been an active member of the committee since its inception and brings experience from editorial roles in a variety of community and in-house publications
 
Ed is a Senior Analyst with Info-Tech Research Group, where he oversees client engagements for primary research and market analysis, as well as Info-Tech’s annual market forecast and an ongoing program of survey research around buyer behaviour in the Information Technology sector. Ed is a key member of Info-Tech’s vendor division which provides research and consulting services to its expanding practice of Canadian and US clients.
 
An extensive background in the telecommunications sector, including Bell Canada and Nortel Networks, has taken Ed through senior managerial roles in marketing, business intelligence, market research, forecasting and strategic planning.  
 
Ed holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an Engineering degree from the University of Western Ontario.
