Gordon Orlikow is returning to the SLF Board as Director of our Human Capital Council series.

Gordon is a Senior Client Partner based in Korn/Ferry International's Toronto office. He specializes in the industrial sector, as well as in further developing the firm's Human Resources Centre of Excellence in Canada.

Gord has held senior human resources executive roles with some of North America's most admired companies. Most recently, he was VP HR with Wescast Industries, a tier one auto parts supplier. In this role, he led the HR, organizational development, and labour relations efforts for the company.

Before joining Wescast, he served in other executive roles including Sr. VP People for the Alderwoods Group (formerly The Loewen Group) where he helped lead that organization out of bankruptcy protection.  Gord's earlier career includes senior positions in diverse sectors including transportation, agri-business, professional services, and telecommunications.

In addition to his volunteer activities on behalf of the Strategic Leadership Forum, he serves on the Board of Athletics Canada, where he chairs the HR Committee. Gord holds an MA in Economics from Queen's University and a Masters in Public Administration from the University of Manitoba.
