. High speed learning: How to read faster, learn more rapidly, and concentrate better
Presented by Lydia Danner, freelance writer, HSL teacher, and realtor. Thursday, March 23, 2006 -- 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. Venue: The Ontario Club, Toronto According to National Education Association statistics, our learning curve rises almost exponentially from birth to the age of five, then drops inexorably from that time on. Before school, children take in life with a dynamic, whole-brain processing, naturally and easily retaining all that they are exposed to in the long-term memory of the subconscious mind. This workshop, introduces you to High Speed Learning (HSL), a whole-brain, whole-life training system that HSL features a revolutionary process. It enables you to absorb information at the rate of two pages per second (or 25,000 words a minute!), and then transfer the information into a specific part of the subconscious mind where it remains for life. HSL opens up ways to access the diverse and incredible powers of the mind and allows us to begin to use the other 90% of our brain. We are living in an age of information overload. For example, in 1995 there was more information produced in that one year than in the entire history of mankind. Reading, even speed-reading, is not enough. To cover even one topic of interest, you must be able to assimilate information at the speed of light. We are born with a fully photographic memory - we still possess this ability - we never lose it. We?re just out of touch with using it. Our natural abilities are suppressed as a matter of cultural and social acceptability. Examples are psychic and telepathic skills and photographic memory. The entire human race is overburdened by the information age. Join us for this interactive workshop and learn techniques to help you read faster, learn more rapidly, concentrate better and have a superior memory. Find out more about the mind and the process of High Speed Learning as well as: - Learn how to be distraction-free for three whole minutes using Einstein's Distraction Index
- Find out how to get up feeling fabulous every single day by waking up in alpha instead of beta. (The alpha state enhances your ability to learn well)
- Discover how you are being manipulated every day by the media and everything around you.
